The Second Mediterranean Conference on Medical and Biological Engineering, BIOMED 80, offers to all its participants a view of the latest discoveries in the new and very open field of biomedical techniques in a friendly atmosphere conducive to relationships.
We would like to thank the I.F.M.B.E. and its President, Mr. SAITO, who has helped us with the kindness and thoughtfulness that we are all familiar with.
We likewise extend our thanks to all the cooperating organisations: Spanish, Israeli, Italien and Yougaslavian which enable us to be together again in Marseille.
Our gratitude goes to all the participants who prove, by the value of their studies, the real liveliness of this new field, Medical and Biological Engineering.
